•No photograph may display a nude minor with an appearance of being age two or older.
••This includes any angle of shot including front, side, back or any other possible viewpoint.
••This prohibition stands regardless of whether breasts or genitalia are visible or not.
••An exception for infants under the age of two with a bare bottom showing may be granted providing that neither penis nor vagina is visible. Exceptions are not guaranteed.

•Female children may be shown topless only if they appear to have not yet passed their second birthday.
••No female between the ages of two (2) and eighteen (18) may be depicted topless or implied to be topless in any manner whatsoever.

•Minors below the age of eighteen (18);
••May not be photographed in lingerie or undergarments.
••May not be photographed in any bondage or sadomasochistic scene or manner of dress.
••May not be photographed in any clearly sexual or alluring pose.
•••This applies for both clothed and unclothed photographs.

Remember that your deviantART account is always publicly viewable so everything that you say or do on site can be easily be read by anyone regardless of whether or not they have a deviantART account themselves.

•• Don’t post anything that could embarrass you later or expose you to danger. It is easy to mistakenly believe that only your friends will view your account, deviations and activity but the fact is that many complete strangers have access to what you post, including potential employers, colleges, your teachers and peers at school that you might not even know. You shouldn’t post photos or information you wouldn’t want people to know about you and never say anything which you don’t want to have held against you later.

•• Think before you post. What’s uploaded to the net can be downloaded by anyone and passed around or posted online pretty much forever. You shouldn’t post photos of yourself or your friends or family that you wouldn’t want to be spread around without your knowledge, possibly with malicious intent.

•• Protect your privacy. Since anyone can view your account page be careful about what sort of contact details that you provide. A publicly posted email address can easily be read by someone collecting addresses for a spam list, or looking for people to pitch a scam to, and even by people who would use it to send you insults, abuse, or worse.

Some of you I’m sure know about Autism awareness or have heard of a disorder called Autism. You may know people, or have a loved one with this disorder. Then again you may not have heard of this at all.

Autism Awareness has turned into more of what you think about Cancer awareness. It’s mostly “Oh let’s feel sorry for the people, it must be so hard to live with this, I’m so sorry” and what this is doing is singleing people with Autism out. You may like to be pointed out or to have everyone looking at you. You may be popular, love being around people, going places, but for people with Autism their biggest fear is to be singled out. It’s very terrifying for them. That’s what Autism Awareness is doing. So I have created Autism Education so you can be aware and know that facts with out singleing people out.

Autism is a brain development disorder. It interferes with communication and social interaction. These are the people that are left out, bullied in school, have no friends. The odd ones out. This could be a person that you made fun of in school for being different, the person rumors are spread about.

There is no cure for Autism. Hardly any one with autism lives independently, though some been very successful.
This affects people for the rest of their lives. Most of these people have to be home schooled and have no were else to go.

This is a gamma calibration test image. The gamma defines how the luminance (the amount of light) on the screen depends on the 8-bit RGB values. As of 2007, computer monitors are supposed to adhere the sRGB standard, which is very similar to a gamma value of 2.2. Especially for things like photo editing it is important that your gamma settings are correct, since this is what digital cameras and photo printers are supposed to approximate.

Look at the image below, and take a few steps back from your monitor such that you don’t see the individual pixels or squint your eyes. In each of the vertical color bars, the lighter and darker bands should blend in at the height labeled “2.2″, which is the gamma setting. Actually, for a true sRGB display, the bands should blend in at 2.25 (48%), 2.20 (25%), and 2.17 (10%). read more

Note for Mac users: check your system gamma for this test; it’s under Apple > System Preferences > Displays > Color > Calibrate > Gamma. If it is set to 1.8, of course the test should show a value 1.8.
